Yesterday we started reading The Sign of The Beaver by Elizabeth George Speare. Afterwards we discussed your visualization skills and you drew a picture of what you think Matt’s cabin looks like. Do you think your picture will look like other people’s picture? Why would other people have different pictures even though we read the same book? How does visualization help you in comprehending the story? Wow this is a lot of questions! One more though… do you like the story so far (remember your evaluation… you should tell me WHY you like it or not!)

I love sign of the beaver it is still just as good as the first time. hopefully they make sequell.
Most of everybody dosen’t have the same picture because of everybody has different visualizing.
This story is so cool.!!!
this is a good book I think you will like it. The best part is when Matt and Attean meet eachother. Attean shows Matt how to make bows and arrows. Also he shows Matt how to make the most out of animals that you shoot and that you shouldn’t just shoot animals for fun.

my brother and sister have read it when they where in 5th grade and they said it was one of the best books they ever read (next to harry potter of couse) but it is still a favorite my sister was excited when she heard we where reading it! i think that i well like it a lot!
This story is a good book .And I hardly say that.
I agree with you all that S.O.T.B. is an awesome book. The author does a really good job of developing the relationship between Matt and Attean. Not to give to much away, but towards the end of the book you really feel like Matt and Attean are brothers… it is really cool!
